Katsunuma is the border between Otsuki and Kofu in Yamanashi Prefecture, at the entrance to the Kofu Basin, and Toriibira is located on a mortar-shaped slope, making it the most affected by the cold winds from Mount Fuji. Toriibira is the pinnacle of terroir in the Katsunuma region, perfectly equipped with all the conditions necessary to produce the finest wine: mineral soil, abundant sunshine, high accumulated temperature, temperature difference between morning and evening, and good drainage.

The red wine has a fresh berry aroma and a soft, rich flavor. It is best served slightly chilled.

The white wine features fresh citrus flavors of Japanese pear and grapefruit. It is dry and perfect for relaxing, so please enjoy it well chilled.
